In order to improve the functionality of these windows, as well as their energy efficiency, AMS came up with the idea of creating the XT66 High Specification Casement Window System. It is an aluminium casement window system that offers high performing, eco-friendly, sustainable, and patented designs – providing up to 66 millimetres in terms of its depth! It is possible to glaze it on both the inside or the outside with units ranging in size from 28 to 48 millimetres and a variety of sash styles. The XT66 casement window system is completely interchangeable and compatible with both the TS66 and XTC66 window systems.
The casement window system has passed both the BS 6375 – 1 & 2 and PAS 24 tests, which are both security assessments to ensure that it exceeds the requirements for a safe and secure window. It has performed exceptionally well in each and every testing category. In regards to their individual U-values can be as low as 0.92 watts per square metre when using the XT66’s one-of-a-kind, patented technology. This casement window system also features a heavy duty, category 3 status (20,000 cycles), which allows for repeated opening and closing of the door.
